On Pins and Needles

Needle play has been on my ‘want to try’ list for a long time now. I actually bought him a needle play starter kit for Christmas 2015 but apart from one small trial when @subbee and her partner kindly gave us a mini lesson last year was a wash out in the needle department. Not from lack of willing on either of our parts but quite simply lack of time. It is not something you can just whip out and do in a spare half hour while the kids are out.

However this weekend we finally broke our respective needle play cherries.

Watching him set it all up had my squirming in my seat way before anything started. There is something supremely hot about watching him get things ready to do to me. The care and attention he takes in the process combined with the to buzz of anticipation always gets to me. Eventually he called me over to the chair, had me take off my top and set about cleaning my back with antiseptic and making little marks with a skin marking pen to guide his way. Then it was time

“Are you ready my love?”

I could feel my heart racing and a little prickle of sweat forming on my brow but even so the answer was yes.

It was only 5 needles. He wanted to keep it simple the first time. There were a few gaps between some of the needles as I needed a bit of time to just process the sensation and try to keep on top of my body’s urge to spring into full on adrenaline rush mode but then he was threading the ribbon and taking pictures and I was grinning from ear to ear.

It wasn’t really painful just sharp little scratches which seemed to be mostly when the needle was exiting the skin rather than entering it but nothing unbearable and as we progressed through each one I found myself relaxing into it more. The one thing I needed to know was when each one was done other my brain was constantly on edge wondering if it was finished or not.

We are learning this together. Neither of us have ever done this before and so it was as new and unknown to him as the one putting in the needles as it was to me being the one receiving them. You can’t ever really know how you are going to react or feel about something like this, after all most of us have no experience of sticking needles into someone, but it seems that like me he discovered that he really rather enjoyed it.

Once the star was done and some pictures taken then I was told to make myself cum and so I sat astride the chair and rubbed my clit with my eyes closed thinking about what was on my back and the pull and tug of the ribbon and needles and the tightness in my skin. He took out 2 of the three needles. The finally 3 he left until the moment that I came, the little sting they provided as they left my flesh only serving to make me grind down onto my hand even more.

It would be nice to try to take some myself in the future, the challenge of having the needles in my skin and taking self portraits is one that I think I would relish but on this occasion it was not about that but about being in the moment and experiencing something new, together.

This has made me so very happy. I’m glad you’ve finally managed to experiment with needles.

It may ‘just’ be a 5 point star but I think a Death Star should be next ;-P

Ha! Actually we both decided that we were not that bothered by the pattern design aspect but actually liked the needle bit without that so we shall see. I am sure there will be more experiementing

I’m so glad you got to try something new together – and your back seems a perfect place to start needle play experimentation! I like the design you chose, and the ribbon is really pretty. Great way to bond with a partner – nothing says “I love and trust you” like letting someone else poke needles into you! x

You are so brave to try this. I absolutely love the designs and yes, there is certain pull that tells me I want it too, but no way I will get near needles. I just have too much fear for them. Beautiful that you’ve tried it and I look forward to more designs 😉

Thank you and you totally should. It was very intense but very much in the mind more than physically painful

That took a lot of trust. I like the design chosen and the color of the ribbon. Not my cup of tea, as they say, but this is your ‘tea party’.

p.s. the ‘Random Kiss’ shown next to this post is ‘Beneath you…’, look appropriate and I can imagine this ‘star’ on your back.

I’m fascinated by the nip and slide off needles entering flesh. I’ve only done it on not so sensitive parts – like the inside of the forearm. But it wasn’t a sexual experience – just curiosity. The photos and post are so sense provoking. Wow

This was really interesting to read. I love how this community exposes me to things I would never have thought to learn about. Like many here, needles squick me out a bit too much for anything like this but loved reading about it and Michael’s photos are great! Xx

I am quite jealous. This is something that really interests me but my OH hates needles – recieving and I’m sure sticking them in people as well. Really glad you got to tick another kink off and I hope you enjoy this new journey 🙂

Great photos!

I’m another one of the sharps-phobic doms, I’m afraid. I won’t do needles or cutting, no matter how nicely I might be asked.

But those are great pics, and they say so much about your courage and the warmth and trust in your relationship!

Love this! The photos and the description of how it happened. I used to sew and liked threading needles just under the thick skin on the tips of my fingers. I’m sure it would be way more intense on the soft skin of your back! But most importantly, I loved reading about the intimacy and trust of the two of you doing something new together. It’s really hot and really beautiful.
