And the time has come; The Top 100 Sex Blogs 2021 list is here.

Yesterday I published the Category Award and New Voices winners. Please do go and visit that post and see who were the lucky winners of those accolades.

1. Mx Nillin

“Nillin’s blog is bold, powerful, at time challenging and direct and always unashamedly filthy.” That is what I wrote about Nillin’s blog last year and I stand by that statement again this year. One of the things I have always said about making it to the number one spot here on the list is that it is content above anything else that achieves that. Creating compelling, powerful, thoughtful and thought-provoking content is the key. Bleeding on the page if you like, and Nillin does that sharing their triumphs and their challenges, their lust and loves, their happy and sads and securing themselves this number one spot in the process.

2. Smutathon

This is quite frankly one of the most amazing projects that has ever come out of the sex blogging community. This year I was delighted to see them nominated and that they had published enough content on the blog to eligible. Not only is that content amazingly hot and filthy smut written during the Smutathon but also powerful guest pieces around their theme. The result is that this project has raised over £10,000 for various charities since it’s inception and just for that they deserve this spot on the list.

3. On Queer Street

I know that Quinn’s has had a challenging year and as a result has reduced the amount of blog content he has created but whilst he may have reduced quantity slightly he has definitely not reduced quality. In fact quite the opposite. He is a truly talented writer and thinker and that is reflected in every post he publishes.

4. Coffee and Kink

Amy continues to be at the top of her blogging game writing an engaging mixture of fiction and non-fiction. She has been a bit of a reviewing machine this year too so if you are looking for advice about a sex toy purchase then I highly suggest a stop at Amy’s blog because she has likely written about it already.

5. Girly Juice

Kate has held a place in the top 10 for the last 4 years and this year is no different. Her writing excels and I regularly enjoy reading her content. Also she reviewed the Balldo this year and I was totally skeptical about that product (I pretty much still am) but her review made me so wanna try it out.

6 Focused and Filthy

When it comes to photography Missy is second to none. Her blog is a visual delight of self portraits but also a growing collection of images she has captured of others. I find her work both beautiful and often very hot but also inspiring to me as a photographer.

7. A to sub Bee

I have always been a dedicated reader of Bee’s blog but this last year their work has just taken on a whole new level. Their exploration of non-monogamy and also embracing their queerness shines through in their work which. I feel like they are stepping into their true selves and we are getting to see that in their blog content. It makes for compelling, sexy and powerful reading.

8. Cara Sutra

I think that Cara might be one of the hardest working bloggers that I know. She knows exactly what she is doing and she does it absolutely brilliantly. Her blog is a one stop shop where you will find reviews, guides, fiction, thought pieces and images.

9. Love, Emma

I only discovered Emma’s blog a couple of months ago but since stumbling on it through a retweet on twitter it has become a firm favourite of mine. I find her writing so engaging. She can go from funny to vulnerable often all in one post and I am excited to see how her blog continues to develop.

10. Love, Violet

I think Violet is a hugely talented writer and blogger. In particular her fiction is always a must read for me but the depth and breadth of her writing is what earns her a place on this list.

100. YOU! The last spot on the top 100 sex blogs 2021 is for the all the other awesome sex bloggers out there. It is just not possible to include everyone, I relied on the nominations to gather the list and I am sure there are people missing, but this place is for you because every single one of you counts and contributes towards this community.
