Wow, what can I say about Vegas? It’s mad; I don’t think there is anywhere else like it. It’s cheesy and tacky and yet sexy and classy all at the same time. There are dancing fountains, indoor canals with gondoliers, an erupting volcano and the biggest casinos you have seen in your life (which you can deposit with Paypal to directly). It’s also hot with a capital H. It’s not a humid heat either, this is bone dry arid desert heat, the minute you step outside, you sweat, but the dry air makes it evaporate straight away. Lots of water is required for Vegas or else you won’t make it beyond the boundaries of the air conditioning.
I had the best time ever here, I don’t think I would want to live in Vegas, getting anything done in that heat would be a challenge, but as a place to visit and have more fun than you can imagine, well I can’t think of anywhere better. Of course great company helps and I had the best company ever. I have not laughed so hard and so much in forever.
He is my Master, my Dom, my Sir, whichever word you want to give it and boy did I know it. I am sitting here in Vegas airport waiting for my flight home and my whole body is reminding me of this fact. I go home carrying his mark. The bite marks on my arm, the bruises on my bottom and the delicious belt mark that lingers on my inner thigh. I hope the marks are slow to fade, but even onhealthy when they do, I am still left with the best mark of all. His collar!
All that aside, he is the funniest man I ever met. He knows how to have fun and he can make me laugh until I am nearly weeping. Have you ever done the Monkey’s walk down the street, or been made to skip like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz as you cross the road in front of the waiting traffic, have you ever tried stupid hats on together in the mall, or been made to go down a water slide whist having to keep a hold of a bikini that is soooo not designed for such activities? I am giggling as I sit here and think about it all, and more besides. Oh and when I thought I couldn’t take any more, he would take me to bed, and teach me a whole different lesson. Whether it’s the have fun lesson or the other type of lesson, it doesn’t matter, I shall not forget a moment of it, ever!
So time to return home…..again…..although I know it’s not home really. Home is where you heart is and in that case, home for me is Philadelphia, I just have to accept that for now, I have to be someplace else. It’s time to go back to the UK and get on with what I need to do, so that I can truly one day…….come home!

PS, So where is my Virgin???

……..It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
Looks like I am going to have to get this one!
Looks like Signs did what I sometimes have to do with my students to keep them open and learning. If we read just what is easy and comfortable then we are learning nothing new. Real learning (a birth in and of itself) is like real birth: they both require some pain to know the joy of opening up to and embracing something new.
