It was my birthday on Thursday. I have a very complex relationship with my birthday which means that I tend to not tell anyone when it is. This year though, I have a super lovely day. In fact it has been a lovely week and I have even managed to find some super lovely stuff from other people to enjoy.

I love everything about this post. It is basically a ‘note to self’ to remind her to claim her time, to put herself in the centre of what she does. It is a lovely piece of writing but I also adore the final picture in this post. Her smile is utterly infectious, it is a picture that makes me happy (and also want a bubble bath)
