So here we are, the 1st of February which means it is also the first day of February Photofest. If you don’t know what that is or think you might want to join in then I suggest you read this post, February Photofest Madness and check out the February Photofest Page.
As has become tradition during #febphotofest Thursdays are dedicated to Throwback Thursday where I take an image that I have previously published here and re-edit it. Over the years as my skills at editing have developed it has been a really interesting process for me and often resulted images that I love more than the original I posted.
This week I have picked an image that originated on my Instagram but that I posted here back in December as my last Sinful Sunday of the year. At the time it was the image from 2017 with the most likes on Instagram.
I do love the original, there is something lovely about the colour of my skin and also my big smile that makes it such a great shot. I also really like the little glimpse of underarm hair that shows I have not bothered to shave recently. However this new edit is quite a transformation. Turning it black and white has given it an almost abstract feel, it is no longer about skin tone and smiles but about shapes and lines only and I must admit that I really like it.

I love it! More like this please 😉
sexy!
that smile creeping in from the side made me smile
Many things I like about this image – seeing your smile, your well kept nails – your peachy skin 😉 x
I love this image both in color and in black & white.
Just want to say thank you for February Photofest ?

This is one of those arousing photos with so much to look at, Molly. I want to agree with Marie and say thank you for the Fest. I wasn’t going to do it, but hey, I can’t let all my friends have all the fun. Plus, how can I turn down 28 chances to show off???
I find it endlessly fascinating now much switching to black and white changes a shot! Gorgeous. Xx
I love the smile the most 🙂
As always, you have such an eye for composition. So glad to be a part of this challenge again.
Love the dark edit, Molly – really has changed the entire image x
Such a fabulous shot – and edit.
Love it
