“O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Much pleasure doth thou bring me!”
What I really want for Christmas I just can’t have. Mostly I am OK with that but there are days when I want to stamp my foot and say it’s not fair because well, it isn’t fair but there also isn’t much that can actually be done about that right now. However that does not mean it will always be this way. I hope next Christmas will be very different from this one. I hope that everyone will be where they are meant to be and who they are meant to be with. In the meantime I am trying to take what joy I can when I can, which is a bit challenging with a houseful of kids and an ex husband but I am nothing if not determined and where there is a will there is a way.

I’m sorry you can’t have what you want to have right now. I guess all one can do is keep on looking for the little lights that together can make it all a little bit more bearable.
