Deeply Rooted

Today (Saturday) or yesterday depending on when you are reading this it was Michael’s birthday. His Kitten Cara Thereon is here visiting for a week from the USA. For his birthday we decided to get him a tattoo. Earlier in the week we surprised him with a trip to see the artist and talk through his design and today we returned for the actual ink into skin part.

This is the final product

He is the letter D, for Dom obviously and I am the s, for sub, and the little black cat is obviously his Kitten and it represents how he keeps us safe within his embrace and also how we evolve and grow and are rooted together.

I absolutely love it. I think it captures our relationship perfectly and also that of him with Kitten and how she fits so well into our relationship, as if she is just meant to be there.

And as an added bonus for once kitten and I get to say that we marked him.
