Before and after
A picture of a scene
Waiting
Or completed
Does he throb at the thought what is to come next
Or does she throb with used abandon
Marks on her wrists lingering still
Or tingling in anticipation of the restraints to come
Stains to be made
Thrills yet to come
Or memories remaining
Before or after

Award winning. The depth of this post provides enough yet open the mind for more. Very Well Done, Molly.
Thanks Duchess. It’s funny, pictures and words I sometimes predict will get positive reactions don’t and the ones I am worried about and think are not so good often do. I wasn’t sure about this, although it has been something i have been mulling over for a while now, but not at all convinced iT worked….but it seems maybe it does.

Beautiful, Molly. The photo and the words. There’s an aching emptiness to the shot, even with all its color and vibrancy, which is kind of how it feels before and after. When you’re just alone — with anticipation or memories. Or maybe that’s just me. How the photo speaks to me. Either way, it’s powerful.
Sorry I’m not being sinful today, I wanted my post to focus on something else. Next week, though. Promise:-)
You are pretty close to the mark here DDD….the photo was both I guess, after he had been here and before he will return and yes, all that fosters a terribly emptyness.

What a truly great post!! Loved it…You are so creative, Molly.
I’m thinking before, but I’m all about the anticipation.
Brilliant 🙂 stunning artwork and intrigueing words. In my view it illustrates in between though – dishevelled sufficiently from the first ‘romp’ but leading inevitably to the next 🙂
