Crops – 100th Scavenger Hunt

I published my first Scavenger Hunt post (Fucktoy on the EuroStar) back in 2011. It took me 2 years to get my Platinum badge, which is awarded when you have done 30 locations. Next stop a Diamond badge for 100 locations. I have no idea how that has taken me another 11 years to get there but that does work out at roughly 6 locations a year and as there have been years when I have not posted any it actually doesn’t sound too bad.

Once I got into the 80’s the 100 locations was really calling to me and 18 months ago I set myself the task of getting to 100 locations by the end of 2023. Clearly I didn’t make but only 6 months past goal and finally here I am. My 100th Scavenger Hunt location and I am grinning broadly at that achievement.

This project has always been fun. Over the years Michael and I have had so many funny, happy, sexy and sometimes down right silly moments getting some of these pictures. Unlike my other outdoor self portraits that I usually capture on my own the Scavenger Hunt ones tend to involve more risky populated areas and so having a partner in Scavenger Hunt crime is helpful.

Having said that there are actually quite a few I have managed totally on my own, Animal Farm, Orchard Delights, Locker Room Talk and Snow Tits to name just a few. However even after all these years I think one of my favourite pictures in this project remains the up-skirt shot Michael got at a very crowded Piccadilly Circus which the 2 grumpy men in the foreground.

The picture I have chosen for my 100th location (Crops) is actually one I took over a year ago but when I was planning out what places I was going to do to get to me 100 I knew this picture was the one I wanted to share to mark that occasion. (You can find all 100 posts listed on my Scavenger Hunt Page) Firstly it is one I took myself. I did have my look out with me as the path this field is on is fairly popular with walkers but the shot itself was taken by me using a tripod and remote etc. Secondly, it’s a really good shot and I love how it came out with this retro style edit on it that reminds me of the widescreen landscape Cinema-scope movie shots popular in the 1950’s.

So is this project done now? Will I be retiring the Scavenger Hunt? Absolutely not. I actually asked Bee recently if there could be a badge for 150 locations. They responded by telling me, get closer to 150 and they would think about but I notice on the Participants page that Modesty Ablaze and BareFoot Sub have 130 and 136 locations respectively. Sooooooo? *bats eye lashes at Bee.

I actually already have 3 more locations done. So my aim is to post a Scavenger Hunt once a month for a Sinful Sunday for the foreseeable. At that rate it will only take me 4 and a bit years to get to the 150 mark. I am not holding my breath mind you, but it is good to set yourself some mad goals now and then, especially ones that involve you getting naked.

What a fantastic image, I lovc thinking of how it must have felt being naked in those crops touching you.

I love the lighting in this photo so much! And you do look so happy, strong and confident in this photo. Congrats on making your 100 and best wishes for your journey to 150.

And like “We Fear Nothing”, I wonder how the crops would feel. 😀
