Why this quote?
Well I very nearly got rid of this image because at first glance all I could see was my not flat tummy and the stretch marks. I left it for a few days and then went back and edited it. Dropping the shadows a bit and upping the contrast. The result was you could see the stretch marks even more but I suddenly realised I absolutely did not care.

It’s a really lovely image. I always try to not delete photos I react negatively to straight away. I give myself time to revisit in a different headspace and often I find the beauty there.
