“Time is a fire that consumes me, but I am the fire.” ~ Jorge Luis Borges
It is Thursday and that means it is time for a throwback image. I am very proud of this image. The original edit, Fire Burn, took me a while to get right as there was light from my house that was illuminating part of the garden. Making that vanish and not fuck up the rest of it was not easy but I worked it out in the end and the result is brilliant.
So can it be improved upon? I think the answer is no. The original is the best but the edit is so different that you can’t really compare them. It has become a whole new image and in that sense I think I love how this version has come out even more than the other image. Neither is better, they equally fabulous in their fiery differences.
What do you think? Do you prefer the single shot or the triptych version?

It is a great image. Reminds me of fall leaf burning and playing in crisp autumn nights. Seeking warmth yet enjoying the last of summer.
