These knickers are part of a pack I bought from Primark. They are rather pretty and delicate and they actually fit me really well but that is not the only reasons why I like them. That is the reasons however why I wore them to meet someone; pretty and delicate and they fit really well. 9 hours of travel requires good knickers especially when you hope the next time you take them off someone else will be doing it for you.
Now every time I get them out of the drawer and slide them on I think of that moment after a long day of travelling when those knickers finally came off. They still fit well and look good but now they have memories attached to them and I suspect they will be the type of knickers that even when they are long past it I will continue to keep them as a reminder of that day and the night which followed it.

I re;ate to these words … just the other day I put on the limpest, most pathetic scraps of underwear and thought “i should really throw these out” but they’re a last vestige of another time and another love that still aches. Maybe someday.
