“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
~ T.S. Eliot
Don’t panic. Not an end to the blog just to 2024! It has been another year where the world appears to be going to hell in fiery hand basket. Clearly it is not an environment that seems to lend itself to my creativity but as I said last week, I remain hopeful and outward looking. I also remain committed to my photography. In the past that has also helped inspire my writing so again, hopeful!
For now though, I am sharing an oldie but a goodie. It has never been published before but I did take in the cold damp woods quite a few years ago now but I stumbled across it in me archive folder this week and it felt like the perfect image for the weird time between Christmas and New Year.
I hope you all had a lovely Chrimbo and whatever your plans for the New Year, whether it be the party type of the stay home and snuggle type, or anything else in between I hope it makes you happy and contended and I will see you back here in 2025!

The time between Christmas and New Year is definitely odd. Reminiscing about the year that is passing, frantic plans for New Year’s Eve and exhaustion from Christmas. Beautiful image! I hope that you continue to make inspirational images in 2025.
Oh what a lovely Xmas bauble that would make hanging from our tree.
Hope you have a lovely end to the festive season too … and let’s all hope that next year will be better for all of us (despite the gloomy outlook it presently seems!)
