“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.” ~ Dorothea Lange
How to see, or what do you see?
Thursday’s post contained the other image from this series of 3 and I asked if anyone knew how I did that or what, apart from me, they were looking at?
The answer is, my water bottle. I had put it on the window sill while I was getting dry and my phone propped up on it so I could see the screen. I accidentality hit the camera icon and the picture it showed on the screen was the view outside my window half in normal colours and the other half in red. The moment I saw it I had a vision of these pictures. All I did was flip the camera and stand it behind the water bottle with the bottle covering half the lens and triggered the timer.
Sometimes pictures take planning and consideration and sometimes you are presented with a moment, or a vision, and you grab it. This was one of those times.
Did you guess right from yesterdays post?
