“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
I couldn’t agree more. I would love to say this picture is from this week but it is actually from this time last year when we were on holiday in Kefalonia. I have written many times about my love of the sunshine, heat and Greece so I won’t bore you with that again but just in case you didn’t know, if I won the lottery the first thing I would do is buy myself a home there.
I decided to post this image this week after seeing May More’s shot from last week which reminded that I had this one lurking in my folders on my computer somewhere. I think it captures perfectly Emerson’s thoughts but also how I feel about those things as well including swimming naked which is one of the most wonderful feelings ever and if you have never done it then I urge you to give it a try if you ever get the chance. It always surprises me how different it feels, after all there isn’t much to a bikini and yet the sensation of the water flowing against your body is so completely different when you are naked. Oh and for once this is not a self-portrait but this lovely picture was captured by Michael.
