The prompt this week on Wicked Wednesday is nudity. I am sure I don’t need to tell anyone that I am a big fan of naked. However forget about the photographs here, the Scavenger Hunt, the exhibitionism, for a moment because although I love and get off on that I also just love to be naked. I can often be found here at my laptop typing away in the nude, I always sleep nude, I wander round the house nude, I clean in the nude, I hang the washing out in the nude, I have even been known to cook and iron nude ( although both take a little extra care and precision for obvious reasons) and weather permitting I will happily sit in my garden completely in the buff. One of my favourite summertime activities is going to a local nudist spa and laying out in the sun (English weather permitting!) lounging in one of the hot tubs and swimming in the beautiful heated pool. Of course it helps that this is a nudist spa/sex club and so whilst enjoying all these naked past times you can also indulge in all sorts of naughty pastimes too.
As I pondered this post though and my love of being naked I realised that there is one activity that really stands out for me but sadly one that it can be tricky to do and that is swimming naked, particularly swimming in the sea or an open body of water. Sadly there are just not enough places in this world where this is possible and although there are nude beaches and nude swimming ponds in the UK the climate here does not really afford one much of a chance to enjoy them.
Have you ever swum naked? In the sea or a lake maybe? If the answer is yes then I am sure you will understand what I am talking about but if the answer if no then I suggest you put it on your ‘bucket list’ for life because there really is nothing quite like it and although a pool or hot tub is lovely it just doesn’t feel the same. There is something about the sea, I think it is the size and the wildness of it, that, when you wade naked out into its arms, makes you feel so very liberated; Like you are submerging yourself in nature. In that moment you are at your most basic, purely and simply just yourself in its rawest form, just like the open body of water enveloping you. Finding words here to it justice are challenging, I think it is one of those things that if you have done you will understand and if not, then I hope you have the desire to explore one of life’s simplest, oldest most basic pleasures.
Once day I would love to live by the sea, in a climate with long drawn out summers the type that burst forth with an early spring and drag on into a warm golden autumns, there would be a small beach cove, surrounded by rocks and gentle cliff with a natural pathway down to the sand where I could peel away the layers, discard all the barriers and slip naked and exposed beneath the water and swim. One day….
I am claiming this series of images as the ‘Underwater’ a notch on my Scavenger Hunt list and just to prove that this was a public area here is a shot that shows all the people on the beach across the bay as well as other swimmers in the water not that far away.

I really only get nude aside from sex during the summer. The UK is not aw warm as home. SH gets nude all year round. I like that. BTW, great pics. 😉
As a guy, I don’t mind swimming naked, though I haven’t tried before.
i love being naked and have been caught in the back yard by my neighbors. Usually they just shake their heads. i don’t swim but would enjoy some outside nude time at a beach. your photos are winners in my book
I love to swim naked, but have never swam naked in the sea or a lake. Maybe I should indeed put that on my bucket list. Your photos are fabulous!

I love to be naked; it is so relaxing and I just adore it. I wrote a couple of books, freely downloadable without charge on Amazon under my real name that deal with naturism – one fiction and one non-fiction.
The sense of freedom, tranquillity, calmness and at one with Gaia is unmatched by anything else and swimming in the sea au naturel is just incredible.
When you get your cove, I’d love to come and visit.
🙂
What an awesome post, Molly. You are right. There is nothing quite like a naked swim. I have some brilliant buff swimming memories.
The most picturesque? I used to be very into rock climbing, and there was a place we would go and camp at on the side of a lake. The rock faces used to run into the water in places and the water was very, very blue. Anyway, it was in the middle of nowhere – no facilities whatsoever – and the only place to bathe was in the lake. On hot days, in between climbs, we all used to rip of gear off and jump in to cool off. I have this enduring memory of sitting on top of a crag, mid-climb, and seeing all these lovely naked people splashing about below me :).
What lovely pics and you brave girl.
Love the photos!!
And I agree there is nothing like swimming in the nude out in an open body of water. The feeling of the water against your skin, the knowledge that someone might be watching just out of sight…
Unfortunately for me there are no nude beaches/pools in Canada… Prudes!!!
Which means I need to be sneaky… 😉
oh the joy of what we call skinny dipping. yes it should be on everyone’s bucket list. I don’t know if we were brave or crazy but back in the day 20 or 30 of us would go down the the river and its wasn’t too long in the Tennessee hot summer sun before clothes would hit the sand and we would be swimming in the Mississippi river.
Excellent pictures too. thanks for sharing
I absolutely adore swimming naked, and it’s certainly my preference when I get the chance.
Love these images! I’ve updated the Scavenger Hunt pages 🙂

I’ve been naked in a lake but never in the sea, that is definitely on my bucket list 🙂
Great series of shots!! that water looks quite enticing as well as the mermaid swimming in it.

[…] I was so glad to see that Curvaceous Dee added my last Scavenger Hunt to her master list, creating a new official location for “lava field/lava plain.” I’m really not trying to buck the system when I post locations that aren’t listed, I just…well, sometimes I get a little enthusiastic in my hunting. 😉 But not today. Today I am posting an already sanctioned, Official Scavenger Hunt Location: Underwater. There are already several participants who have snagged this one, in some lovely and creative ways: Curvaceous Dee herself, KaziGirl (oops, Kaz – the link to the image is broken, though the post comes up), Clive, and Molly.
