O is for Outside and let’s get naked in the woods
Back to nature, just human nature
Getting on back to
I think I’m done with the sofa
I think I’m done with the hall
I think I’m done with the kitchen table, baby
Let’s go outside (let’s go outside)
In the sunshine
I know you want to, but you can’t say yes
Let’s go outside (let’s go outside)
In the moonshine
Take me to the places that I love best
I love being naked outdoors. Even though I hate the cold weather I will walk to get warm, set up my camera and then strip off, take as many pictures as I can until I am cold and then shove my clothes back on and walk back to me car to get warm again. Of course when it is not cold that makes it all the more enjoyable because you can linger and really enjoy the sensation of being naked in the natural world. It is a wonderful feeling.
Sadly it is a feeling I have not managed to have much of over this last year. Every time I have headed out to take pictures I have found that all my usual places that I could go to and rarely ever see anyone suddenly seem to have been found by the whole world who now that the shops and schools were closed had decided that exploring the woods and paths where their new hobby of the moment.
Even the day I went to the secret abandoned church yard there was a mad there trimming he trees. No one has cared for this site in years and years and then we enter a pandemic and suddenly someone has found time to come and get it some TLC on the one day I decide to visit to get my kit off.
The only outdoor picture that I took last year that was not in my garden was this fabulous shot, Fairy Woods, which features myself with Honey and Bee taken the one get together that we managed last year.
In some ways taking a bit of break from outdoor images has been a good thing. I was starting feel like I had captured everything there was to see in this area but not having the opportunity and also walking more with the dog this last 12 months has made me look at places that I already knew with fresh eyes and also discover some that even after all this years I didn’t know existed.
I am hoping that now things are opening up a bit more and kids are back in school that I can finally get out there again and take some new outdoor images. I am also really really hoping that this year I can get out there into nature with some other subjects who might potentially get their kit off for me and let me photograph them naked in the big outdoors. I am excited about that prospect.
In he meantime though, here is a picture for a couple of years back. This spot is one of the places that used to be so deserted and has now become a playground for local families and kids. I can’t imagine having the opportunity to take this picture again so I am glad I took it when I did.
Now… who wants to come outside with me?

Oh, I feel this.
While it’s probably a good thing, generally speaking, that people are enjoying the outdoors, it’s also a bit of a disappointment to find that my once-secluded spaces are not only not “mine” but are also no longer secluded. EVERYONE has found them.
*sigh*
Lovely photograph. 🙂
I’d love to, but sadly I don’t look good naked on camera, unless you know some very good editing tricks! That “naked up a tree” is a good look – I love it! <3
Gorgeous! Both the tree, the spot, and you! Thanks for sharing.
