“In one drop of water are found all the secrets of all the oceans; in one aspect of You are found all the aspects of existence.”
~ Kahlil Gibran Jr.
When I spun the wheel on the Sinful Sunday prompt post the first one stopped on Daily Routine and the second one landed on Minimalist. I will admit that I very nearly went for a second spin but I decided to give myself a week to try some things out and if nothing worked then I would spin again.
I dabbled with a few different ideas which I might actually try to develop into images but I found that none of them really ticked the minimalist box until I got into the shower.
I am actually really pleased with how this shot turned out. It definitely ticks both the boxes and I think it is a really striking image and I also feel like this quote just captures something of it too. What at first appears to be one aspect of me, my feet, actually turn out to frame all of me reflected in the plug.

I’m glad you stuck with your spin. This is a great shot!
This is clever and sexy! Well done!
I think daily routine is so hard because there is little about a daily routine that is sexy, I was close to spinning again too!
But I love this, you’ve captured that moment brilliantly.
I love that you didn’t respin – I will admit I nearly respun mine when it landed on chairs when shadows popped up with it – I decided feck it I’d take the challenge!
The water on your leg and the flipflop tan line really draw me into the shot and when I’m there I see more of you in the plug <3 It is beautiful x
Great shot! It really fits the description!
Stopping by from A to Z!

This is a genius shot! One of the things I love about you as a photographer is the way you find the unusual angle, the reflection, the faint glimpse of something and you turn the photo from mundane into something so unique. The second I saw this picture, I zoomed right in on the center reflection. I love it. A very tricky shot to get clearly and the black and white is perfection.
