I have not joined in with Lingerie is for everyone since back in February when I was doing February Photofest. Every week I have meant to do it but life has kept taking over and I have kept missing it but when I saw that Violet had a prompt for this week I knew I had the perfect image for it.
It is a simple snap taken on my phone one morning after a shower. You can see that my hair is still wet. I took it planning on using it on Instagram but the aspect ratio was all wrong and if I am being really honest I was a little uncomfortable the way I looked in it. I don’t like my tummy and I felt like this showed way too much of it but I have learned not to delete images that inspire that response but sit with them for a while. As a result it has lingered on my phone for a while but every time I scrolled past it would catch my eye and slowly I started to find more and more things I liked about it. The simple white cotton bra and boy short knickers show that comfy and sexy are not mutually exclusive, there is a pleasing line down my body from my cleavage to my toes. It’s just me, simple, everyday me and I am happy with that.

I think this is a lovely image of you.
It’s a terrific photo. You look beautiful ?
I too am glad you didn’t delete it and decided to post it instead.
I don love the lines and simplicity of this image ?
Thank you Eye, I have come to love it as well
This is really pretty and I really like the simplicity. I am glad that you didn’t delete it; my eye goes straight to your perfect skin and cleavage and then down your legs so I didn’t notice your tummy until I went back after reading. I think the fact it is so natural and so real is a big part of the beauty. missy x

I really love this image!

Great image, full of honesty as you say – wet hair, plain functional underwear and relaxed stance (not overtly posed). I like what it projects – confidence, body positivity and practicality without losing any allure.
I love the angle of this image!
Sometimes simple snaps are the best.
