Wall – Scavenger Hunt

by Molly Moore
Large concrete wall with industrial building behind. In front is a green grassy bank and tree with green leaves and green grass.

Like all walls it was ambiguous, two-faced. What was inside it and what was outside it depended upon which side of it you were on.” ~ Ursula K. Le Guin

Onwards with my mission to post a Scavenger Hunt post every month. I have two other locations already done so that is August and September taken care off but first to this months offering. My town as a lot of these as it is a new town, there are lots and lots of cycle-paths (yes I need to get that location too) and footpaths that are set down or back from the road. The result is a lot of these boundary type walls between the paths and car parks or the road.

In this case it is the boundary between the path and a large currently empty office/warehouse space. Although as you can see one of the pictures someone had parked their car. Luckily they were not looking over the wall and opposite me was a high grassy bank and beyond that the road. The road was just high enough up that even if they had looked down they would not have been able to see me, which is a good thing as it is quite a busy road and waiting for a break in traffic would have probably been futile.

Location 101, Boundary Wall – Completed.

Isn’t it funny, that a location that appears to be one of the easier ones to tick off the list gets done years down the line!

And yes, you really need to get on the cycle path one too, you have plenty to choose from *laughs
