What makes you worthy?

“Make me your slave?”

Early morning sunlight streams in through the curtains.

“What makes you worthy?” I message back

I smile when he doesn’t reply instantly. So far our messages have bounced back and forth in rapid succession but this question has got him thinking.

“I’m probably not worthy, but maybe in time I could prove myself?”

I don’t what response I was expecting, something more arrogant or even worse fawning but this is considered, thoughtful.

This excites me.

“Maybe you could” I reply

I send a second message.

“Be here in less than I hour. Don’t keep me waiting”

What an absolutely stunning image. I love the light and the contrasts and the texture. It is also exciting to imagine what might come next in the story.
