Seraph

by Molly Moore
Molly sitting on steps dressed in white as an seraph

She was the perfect seraph. She shone with a goodness and purity that made men breathless. They both desired and revered her and fell at her feet to worship her but they were unknowing fools. For looks can be deceptive and whilst to most she was a celestial being to me she was a monster who, when no one was looking, had tempted me into devious sin. Exposing my hidden desires and forcing me to reveal my truly dark self. She didn’t save me like angels are supposed to. Instead she tore me open and feasted on my mortal soul.

Nice. Hint of Angela Carter. I love how limitations (e.g. 100 words) concentrate the imagination.

ooooh i love a bit of bait and switch! angels/seraphs/subbubi, etc are a whole trope I’ve never really touched on in erotica and this is REALLY inspiring. Thanks for joining in, Molly!
