I love the quote you have chosen for this. The photo and words pair perfectly…and really lend themselves to a possible story to be written.

Love the image.
I think C.S.Lewis was referring to grandparenthood. Unfortunately my grandson wasn’t interested in “fairy’ tales, but Spiderman et al. But with a 2yo grand-daughter now, we might get to read some fairy tales.

On a different front, a was seeing a Lady Of Pleasure for a while who matched my wicked sense of humour and we enjoyed fractured (adult) fairy tales and nursery rhymes, taking turns to come up with another line. What we did with Bambery Cross, Georgie Porgie and Red Riding Hood, etc was definitely not suitable for children. And of course performed with actions. A good belly laugh certainly intensifies orgasm.

Adult fairy tales are the best and actually many of them in their original format are fairly dark and disturbing stories

Littlegem January 5, 2019 - 9:00 pm

I love this and the constant of you with the background gives it a really magical and mysterious feel. I had a fairy photo I thought about using for the prompt and am so glad I didn’t now. I love the aqua and the mushrooms are fab. Enchanting 😊

The quote is so true – the darkness in some fairy tales is wasted on the young – love this shot not sure how you did it – those giant toadstools! x

Mrs Fever January 6, 2019 - 1:42 pm

I’m loving the minty green of your fairy costume against the colorless photoscape. It pops yet in a completely incongruous way.

The expression on your face, too! What *are* you up to, I wonder…? (Trouble?) 😉

I absolutely love your tutu! I always wanted a tutu when I was little, but I never did dancing so never got to have one! You also remind me of a figurine in musical jewellery boxes that were popular when I was young, and I never got to have one of those either!

Julie January 6, 2019 - 5:41 pm

What a fabulous colour Molly. I love that one of the toadstools has flecks of the same colour xx
