Unclean

With a final shake of the duvet the bed is made, clean cotton sheets await her tonight. When the darkness falls she will slip into their welcoming embrace, the subtle scent of the washing powder and the spring air that helped to get them dry will greet her nose as she inhales. At first the cool cotton chills her skin but eventually her own warmth creates a safe cocoon for her to drift off to sleep but this is not what she wants.

She wants to climb into sheets that hold a different smell.

She wants to be greeted with the raw animal scent of sex, of Him and her together.

She wants sweaty sheets, crumpled from use, creased and folded in all the wrong places. She wants to lay in their dirty, roll around in their smell. She wants to flare her nose and have it filled with that musky trace of passion and maleness that he leaves behind.

She wants pillows strewn and duvets thrown to one side, she wants the bed to hold the heat of their bodies and the smell of their coupling. She wants to claw at the sheets in wild abandon as her body yields to His touch.

She wants wet patches and moisture, bodily fluids combined on their skin, in her mouth and on the sheets. She wants stains and marks that dry while she sleeps in the odorous atmosphere of a bed well used.

She wants to lift the sheets and hear cries of passion, whispered words of torment that drive her over the edge. She wants begging and pleading, crying and sobbing, groaning and moaning to flow from those sheets and fill the air around her.  She wants filth and abuse, degrading words uttered, then loving arms to embrace her as she recovers.

In the morning she wants to wake aching and bruised, tender and sore in a room filled with smells that are basic and raw. She wants Him in the bed to mark it with His scent.  She wants sheets adorned with signs of sexual content.

Tonight when she slips into her squeaky clean sheets that cool crisp feeling won’t be what she wants but for now that is what she will get.
