Unwelcome things

“The dream might have been more than a dream. It was as if a door in the wall of reality had come ajar… and now all sorts of unwelcome things were flying through.”
~ Stephen King

And for those who are curious the original image was actually made using an Instagram filter which gave me the wide open mouth and a pale face in the black background, the rest I did myself, adding the extra eye in Photoshop, creating a double exposure effect using a Lightroom plug in and then turning the image so I look like I am swooping in from top of the image.

Fucking hell, this is amazing. A little scary and unreal and has all the fascinating creepiness that you're so good at capturing. It's a heart-stopping image, and is only enhanced by your chosen quote.

This is amazing. It is quite disconcerting in that my mind can’t make sense of it. Definitely eerie and unreal but I want to keep looking at it too ?

That image absolutely looks like it could belong in a Stephen King novel, so your chosen quote is so perfect to accompany it :)

t.e.r.r.i.f.y.i.n.g. I'm reading a sci fi book right now and this creature you've created is straight out of one of their dimensions. "unwelcome things" is such a great low-key descriptor here.

What an awesome image <3 I know the third eye makes it different but I'm drawn to your mouth, the extension of your neck and how that shadow on your neck looks like a head! x
