Please come to bed

“Please come to bed and let me see you and feel you.”
~ Ernest Hemingway

The prompt for Sinful Sunday this month was to spin the two wheels on this post which would get you two elements to include in your image. I ended up with Shallow Depth of Field and Frames. I played around with a few different ideas but in end decided to use this picture which I already had in my images folder. The other pictures I took came out really well and I love them as they definitely fall into the sinister genre of images but the framing part of the image felt a bit weak to me and so they will appear at some point in the future just not this week.

This image is one I shot back in November. What you can’t see in this shot though is that my legs and wrists are cuffed to the bed. Thank goodness for tripods and remote screens.

That frame is perfect, Molly, as is the depth of field, except of course I would wish for a little less shallow.

We may not want the nap on the bedspread to take our focus, and not the suppliant arse beyond but the eye sees strange things and the brain wanders ;) A beautiful fulfilment of the prompt, lovely Molly :) x

Ahhh - I actually didn't realise what the frame was the first time I saw this image. This image couldn't be more perfect, Molly! x

Like LSB, I didn't even see the frame until I read what you wrote about it! >< Also, I'm a huge Ernest Hemingway aficionado, and Garden of Eden is my favorite EH book, so I was so stoked that you used a quote from it. It's saucy, just like this photo!

I love that we cannot see everything in the image, even though I would love to see a close-up shot of your cuffed ankle/foot. Rebel xox

I love how this invites my eye into the image, letting my gaze wander from the bedspread and up your legs.

Cuffed to the bed you say? And did a certain someone take advantage of the position? I hope soooo! Gorgeous photography. I wish I could suck up some of your skill like a sponge.

Absolutely nailed it! And cuffed to the bed at the same time, is there an end to your talents?!

I love the voyeuristic sense that we’re at the end of your bed peeking in! Xx

Intimacy and physical contact are things humans need to survive, and yes that includes a little action between the sheets.

This is so clever, the bed frame as a frame :) and i love the feeling you invoke, of the viewer coming along and catching you there. At least that's the feeling I get.
