And random and incomplete list of my 2017
- Completed another February Photofest
- Pulled off a very successful first Eroticon
- Failed to take a week off afterwards as promised but instead worked even more hours than we had done before
- Gave up smoking my e-cigarette.
- Launched Eroticon 2018 ticket sales
- Secured a regular job doing social media for a company
- Went out for a celebration dinner with Girl on the Net and Michael that Eroticon paid for!!!!
- Picked up numerous writing jobs
- Encouraged my husband to explore a relationship with another women
- Bought a new desktop computer and second monitor. (I LOVE my work space)
- Slept in a four poster bed for the first time ever.
- Got my first Sinful Sunday Monthly prompt Sponsor
- Spent nearly a whole day with my ex husband visiting a university with my son and didn’t commit murder.
- Nearly caused a flood trying to make a cup of coffee at the machine in the hotel because I seem to have forgotten how to make coffee now Michael makes it all the time.
- Went on a two week family holiday to Greece
- Realised my husband loved another woman before he did. (Just to be clear this is a nice thing)
- Discovered that someone who I thought was a nice person and a friend was actually neither.
- Went to Kestrals (naturist/swingers club) again and he spanked me so hard that he got a blood blister on his hand.
- Met up with Teachers Have Sex and took her picture
- Took my Mum out to proper afternoon tea in London
- Got my belly button pierced!
- Sold out all the Eroticon Sponsorship packages.
- Published a post with the word tentacles in it when it should have said testicles. Took 3 days for anyone to notice.
- Developed numerous positive business/work relationships that helped to tackle my imposter syndrome
- Watched my husband have sex with another woman again. (and it was HOT)
- Got to take photographs of the beautiful Cara Thereon
- Finally managed to secure a location for the Saturday night of Eroticon 2018
- Published the 100th addition of Elust
- Started a new project of guest reviewers on my blog
- Redesigned my blog (@domsigns note: and I didn’t kill her)
- Continued to grow my hair. It is now the longest it has been in over 10 years
- Secured a sponsor for the Top 100 Sex Bloggers 2017 and completed the list for the third time
- Earned more money from writing then I have ever done before (This is a MASSIVE thing for me)
- Took actual time off over Christmas and it has been wonderful
I am sure there are things I have missed, in fact I know there are some because I have intentionally left off because they are not for this space. I wrote this really just for me as a way of reminding myself all the things I have achieved this year and all the fun good stuff we have done too. I have a tendency to not recognize my achievements and abilities but to focus on what I have not done rather than what I did not do. I got the idea for this list from Laura Jane Williams (@superlativelyLJ) newsletter How to Eat an Elephant which I highly recommend. She did her own version of it (funnier than mine) which inspired me to attempt my own.
