Silverdrop (who's minor is in art) often discuss the difference, with examples, of the difference between art and craft. Many people consider photography a craft. However, this is one of those pictures that crosses the line into art.

Oh wow. This is beautiful. I went to The Photographer's Gallery yesterday and treated myself to the Bill Brandt Nudes book - the subtlety and simplicity of this photography reminds me so much of his beautiful work. Xx

It's hard to believe that such a simple image could be so breathtaking. The lines of vivid verse that preceded it may have something to do with that, of course. Well done.

I really love your poem, it's sweet and succinct and perfectly felt. But then as you scroll down, you see the image and it takes the breath away. So so so beautiful.
