I stumbled on this Life Bouy (which is what we call them in the UK) on a new footpath I have been exploring lately…
It is situated by a large pond that has one of those ‘Danger Deep Water’ and ‘No Swimming’ signs just out of this shot but I guess they provide the Life Bouys in case you decided to ignore them and plunge in regardless. Of course for the Life Bouy to be of any use to you if you are drowning you do require someone to be on the shore to throw it into you…
