I have been saving these images up for a special occasion and my 50th Scavenger Hunt post seems the perfect ‘special occasion’ in which to bring them out and show them off.
I had been planning these images for a while, in my head, but finding the right field, with the right shaped hay bales in the right weather had not been easy. When we drove past this field on the way to take the Level Crossing pictures (you can see the Level Crossing in the background of the colour splash image of me laying across the bale) I knew I had found my location. Now all I needed was for the rain to hold off.
Luckily that happened and despite the road running alongside this field, and the nearby village being perched up on the hill, the high hedgerows and little bit of woodland provided the perfect screen from any possible passerbys. I should also mention that on this day I didn’t have my tripod with me, but I did have @domsigns and so some of the credit for these beautiful shots should go to him.
I couldn’t pick a favourite hence me posting them all in the slider at the top of this post. I think they work perfectly as a set of images that tell the story of this Scavenger Hunt far better than my words ever could. However I will say that I love the first 2, clothes on, then clothes off, but I am always interested to hear your opinions so if one in particular stands out to you then do let me know in the comments below.
This is my 50th Scavenger Hunt Post. I am not sure what location Dee would like to call this as I have already done field but I am hoping she will allow Hay Bales to be a new location on her list.
