I am delighted to say that I have received yet another piece for The Pussy Pride Project. This time the person has chosen to remain completely anonymous but I have a feeling that her experiences and thoughts are, sadly, an all to common one in our world today. It would be lovely for this person, who has overcome a lot of worry in order to share this piece, to get some positive feedback.

I grew up in a time when girls were taught it was dirty and nasty and to never touch it unless you had toilet paper or a wash rag in your hand. Then several lovers and my husband said it smelled like fish and I know a man who yet today says it smells like fish. I thought it was ugly and even when having sex did not like men to look at it. I was embarrassed because mine did not look like the one in the picture I saw somewhere. Also no computers or internet.
With access to the internet I leaned a lot of things.
Finally at 63, I learn the truth that it is beautiful and that no two are the same. We are all unique in our own way. I don’t have nerve enough to openly post a pic of mine on a web page or even on Fetlife. But I am now proud of my pussy. I know it doesn’t smell like fish and some men just don’t know about the smell of sex. But now at age 65 I am definitely proud of mine and thus do present it to you in honor of pussy pride.
