There are 4 Monday’s in Feb which means 4 new Scavenger Hunt locations to be revealed over the next month starting with this one: Rope Swing.

We walk across this field a lot. Unlike a lot of the fields near us that turn to mud in the winter this one is fairly walkable no matter what the season and has actually been the site of a previous Scavenger Hunt as it was where I found an Igloo.

The rope swing just appeared one day. As you can see from the pictures it is clearly fairly new. These shots were taken back at the end of September. You can just see the leaves are starting to turn for Autumn and whilst the mornings where a bit cool it warmed up once you got going so unlike the Igloo shot I wasn’t having to risk the cold. However I was having to risk being seen.

This is a popular spot for dog walkers, it was mid morning on a beautiful early autumn day. The chances of managing this without someone appearing from one of the many paths that lead onto this space seemed slim but luck was on my side and I actually had multiple attempts at getting this picture.

Turns out holding onto the rope swinging and holding your t-shirt up at the same time is not easy. Every time I climbed onto the swinging my t-shirt would slip back down. In the end, which you can just make out in the picture, I had to roll it up and tuck the back into the neck to keep it there to get the shot. If you are wondering why I didn’t just whip the thing off, well I remind you again of the very public nature of this space and I wanted to be able to quickly drag it back down if anyone appeared.

They didn’t. I got the picture and you get to be the ones who see my rope swing boob flash rather than some unsuspecting person walking their doggo

I did have to laugh at this, I can just image how many times your tshirt rolled itself down as you took the shot!
