“I sit and wait
Does an angel contemplate my fate
And do they know
The places where we go
When we’re grey and old
‘Cause I have been told
That salvation lets their wings unfold
So when I’m lying in my bed
Thoughts running through my head
And I feel the love is dead
I’m loving angels instead”
~ Robert Williams / Douglas Whitehead
I really wasn’t sure which image to post for the prompt last week. It was between this one and the one I ended up sharing; It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. It just felt a bit more playful and sexy and the song is definitely a Christmas song unlike the one above. But Angels are definitely a Christmas thing and I am really rather proud of this image.
I love how it looks, a bit like a classic painting. If you look back through the history of angel painting you will definitely find ones where, for reasons unexplained, they appear to be having a robe malfunction and their boobs are on display. Apparently you can still be angelic with your tits out, especially when it’s Christmas!
