Despite the picture I have absolutely no interest in being an object, unless it is a sex object. I am not going to get off on being used as a footstool or a table, in fact it might even edge fairly close to being a hard limit for me. It would only serve to make me feel irritated and resentful and having put some thought into why that I think it is because I would find it boring. It is too passive for me. Just kneeling there, or standing there in the case of the hat and coat stand. Within moments I would be sighing in exasperation. It is not for me when it comes to kink but when it comes to photography the answer is slightly different because there clearly is a very powerful visual element to this kink and creating interesting/weird/fun images inspired by human furniture is definitely something that gets the creative juices flowing.

When I set about trying to do just that for this post I realised that for once I actually wished I had a model to play with, so to speak, because most of the human furniture images I have seen seem to feature the ‘female’ form and I started to think about what it would be like to create similar images using masculine bodies. I have since been a looked and I can barely find an image of human furniture that features a masculine body in less you count the ones where men are sitting are women or resting their drink on their back etc. There is even actual furniture designed to look like a woman but I couldn’t find a single one that is designed to look like a man.

So whilst I took my picture, and am actually kind of pleased with it this is a subject that I shall file away until the end times hopefully pass and seeing other people becomes possible again. Then I shall see if maybe I can find any masculine body owners who would like to explore with my camera and me, being my human furniture

Fabulous image! I'm sure you'll have no problems finding a masculine form to comply. Looking at it again, that picture says volumes without speaking a word. Thank you.

I am one for equality. If I can find the time I may play with being a hall tree or some other piece of furniture. Send me a thought and I might attempt. Give me an angle and you can edit. I doubt I would be in your neighborhood anytime soon to work as a model otherwise. I like your thoughts and your image. Your work is always interesting. Thank you for posting as always.

It's not something I think would be a turn on for me either, but I do like the shadows in your image - they create an ambiguity between where you end and the coats begin. And you know that I will gladly pose for you x

OMG it's human furniture KoTW!?!?! My partners and I have been excited for this one! While I'm not huge about the idea of being a footstool or something I AM into the idea of having food eaten off my as a table, or eating food off of a partner!

Funnily enough my post started out as a now way, not my thing at all I’d be bored. It’s only when I looked up images and realised there was a whole angle of teasing, tormenting and being used to it that for some reason I hadn’t considered at all. But it is also a kink made for photography and I hope you find your models.

Nice rack! Anyway, interesting concept, never thought about male furniture. I'll have to give it some thought for a shoot, but I'm also not interested in being any.

Standing as a table or hanger is boring and tedious. But creating a creative image is completely different. It's fun and exciting. For creative people.
