Not all maps are what they seem

by Molly Moore
treasure map double exposure over mollys naked skin

She was a journey to take
An exploration to make
Of hands and fingers
And my mouth that lingered

Searching every inch of her
Listening to her sigh and purr
I plundered what felt like treasure
Consuming her for my pleasure

Though little did I know or care
That she was not playing fair
But tempting me to my fate
That I would realise far to late

Had captured my beating heart
And torn my mind apart
She cast her bewitching spell
That lead me straight to hell

Not all maps are what they seem
So be careful where you dream
As some will lead to untold riches
And others end with deviant witches.

This lovely embodies that lyrical, sensual promise that the treasure/pleasure seeker is lured toward, the tension of which is also captured by the poem.

“All Ye Who Enters Must Surrender The Booty! Yar!” Is it wrong to say that? It feels wrong, but I can’t help myself. Great Image as usual, Molly.

An excellent image and a very well executed edit. I also love the idea of a journey to be travelled, and ultimately digging for treasure. ?

The map on your torso totally grabbed me! Wow how clever you are! The poem is a wonderful support to the magical image, you’ve nailed this challenge.

I absolutely love the combination of image and words, and I especially like how you’ve selected a hand drawn map as it reminds me of a full body tattoo, very clever and very beautiful Molly xx

I would say ‘Amazing’, but truth to be told, I am no longer amazed by what you create, Molly. I come to expect being in awe at your images. This is not bs, btw.

Late to the game I too have a love of maps and curvy roads as well as the paths less traveled. Interesting it may be that I have found my treasure in a deliciously decadent witch. Navigating her curves and valleys is a lifelong pursuit. Beautiful image and lovely poem.
