This image was first posted back in 2016 as part of February Photofest. I think the original edit, Heels and Stockings, worked well, the red of the shoes really pops and the seam in the stockings feels very prominent but despite that I always felt like it was missing something. It has long been on my list of images to retake and I might still do that one day but this new edit has definitely given made it much stronger image in my opinion. It looks a bit like a painting and I like the sultry colour tones of it and it feels like maybe it has potential to inspire a story or two. What do you think?

The focus, the intense colour, the trail of light across the floor and the position of your feet in those fabulous shoes! And if that isn’t enough you’ve added that passionate quote from Huxley!!!! It’s way beyond “fuck me on the dance floor”, (though that too).xx Indie And yes painterly feel.

I love everything about this. I also love the seam. With what you and your camera and editing skills are capable of you can make this anything you want! I also want these shoes. What size are they??? ?. I see at least three stories off the top of my head. Love, love, love this!

These shoes really caught my eye, and my imagination. It only improved, when I saw the full picture and the stocking seam too. So sexy :)

OMFG...those shoes! And seamed stockings are so fucking sexy. Getting that line straight is a pain in the ass, but the effect is amazing. Following that line upward, knowing just where it goes. This is a sexy photos. The colors are sumptuous.

I love the newer edit on this image. It reminds me of Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge, very sexy with lots of moody reds and blues. Those shoes are killer!
