Knocking Boots

Whenever I think about boots the chorus from the Nancy Sinatra songs will buzz through my brain

“These boots are made for walking
And that’s just what they’ll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you”

They are not exactly lyrics that fit with me kink mind you, as I have no desire to walk on anyone in my boots and being walked on is not really something that appeals to me either however what I think I like about these words and why they tap into my feelings about me wearing boots is that it is playful.

Of course boots on men is a completely different thing altogether. A man in a pair of well-worn but cared for boots is generally a hot look. I am not keen on the men’s ankle boots that seems to be fashionable, for me men’s boots should by rugged, strong and sturdy. They should look like man and boot have a history together.

I have one pair of sexy high-heeled boots (which you can see in the header image for this topic on Kink of the Week) and a couple of pair of what I call everyday boots but the pair I love above all others are the glorious fushia pink pair you can see in the image above. I bought them about 5 years ago in a shop that was selling a lot of shoes that appeared to look very like designer/brand shoes but without the price tag to go with them. When I saw these boots sitting in the window I HAD to have them. I don’t wear them that often, not because I don’t love them but because I am terrified that if I wear them all the time it will hasten their demise. So I get them out when I want something a little bit different or special and not high heels.

I love my high heels I really do, but a pair of shoes that are eye-catching and playful and super comfortable are the best type of shoes invented and these boots fall into that description perfectly. They also fit me perfectly and I don’t mean that they fit my feet perfectly, which they do, but that the style is so me. I love bright bold colours and I love something that stands out from the crowd and I also love the playful tomboyish look to them. They fit my rebellious teenage slut persona just like a pair of inappropriately bright pink boots, a too short skirt and lack of underwear should and whenever I put these boots on, whether I am feeling little or not, they always make me feel happy and confident and sexy.
