Wild, desperate, urgent and a little dangerous

I am happy to admit that I have a thing for images that are a big freaky shall we say. There is something about the combination of darkness and sexuality that speaks to me on a very visceral level. The idea of a lust so powerful that is makes you crazy or a desire so strong that it leads you to a sheer wildness is something that I find very hot. An obsessive love if you like. It is definitely a theme I have played with in some of my writing such as My Valentine and Haunting you, which I might add is one of my favourite piece of fiction I have ever penned.

I love this image for all the reasons I have stated above, it feels wild, desperate, urgent and a little dangerous and to me there is something intensely sexy about that. The other day when I was looking through images to decide which ones to bring back to life for Throwback Thursday this one caught my eye. Could I possibly do anything with it that would enhance it in any way? Much to my delight and joy the answer was most definitely yes. I love the original but I adore this new version even more. The edit has removed some of the distraction of the background, given me a ghost like aura and really made my face the focal point.

I posted the original image with a few dark words. I did ponder writing something else but in the end I decided they still perfectly capture something about the image for me and so….

In the dark prism of my mind there is horror… come play in me.
