I was going to post this picture with my Kink of the Week post about collaring (you can see lots more collar pictures on that post) as I think it sums up really well just how my collar makes me feel. I think my collar(s) is beautiful and when I look at this image I can see that here. I am not very good at seeing the truth of my own self despite my photography it remains challenging to me to see what he sees. He tells me I am sexy and beautiful and I know in his eyes I am but still my own gaze is far more critical. There are a few exceptions to this on my blog, images that show me what he sees and this is one of those.

we are always hardest on ourselves and it is so easy to KNOW we are beautiful/wonderful/special/loved but there is always that fear and doubt, even not on conscious level, it is there and it has no reason to be your shell is beautiful, who i have met that lives in your shell is amazing and you wear your decorations well... they mirror what is inside

Oh, I love this shot! Man, I wish I had a long enough neck for a collar like that. They look so nice. Alas, even the 1 1/2in one we have makes me feel like my head's going to pop off.
