Face Slapping is the current topic for Kink of the Week and the first of these topics that falls into my dislike category. It's something that surely should be discussed prior too, not just done without some sort of warning or approval. I'm sure there are individuals out there that truly enjoy face slapping, and I see you are NOT one of them.:)

Thanks for your comment. I just want to clarify that this was not a breach of consent, we had talked about it many times and how it made me feel but it was me who wanted to continue exploring and he allowed that to happen until I reached a place where I found the answer. Face slapping is a hard thing for me I really don't like it. I am not a masochist so luckily anything that involves pain is used as a punishment and face slapping is reserved for when I have done something really really bad. Well written Molly and well done for trying it proporly :-)

I really dug this post, even though I deeply enjoy face slapping, because it could so easily be different for me. I feel some of those feelings you describe, like anger and a desire to lash out, but for me those are energizing and add to the experience. You inspired me to write a post of my own on the subject. Interesting how you describe it makes you want to lash out. Being slapped in the face has the opposite effect on me, but other things can bring that feeling about sometimes. Second, I don't think that face slapping is for everybody, this is why you must discuss it with your partner, choose the rules and the limits of this game and just after all of this is settled , you can do it.

I'm in total agreement with you here, Molly. It makes me react in a very similar way, which is why it belongs on my hard limits list as well. We only did it once, but that was enough for me to know I can't handle it.

The subject fascinates me. I don't hate it, but it's hard for me to say I love it too. Face slapping inspires such contradicting feelings in me that I think half the fun I have is in deciphering them. Like you, I want to continue to explore it until I decide one way or the other.
