PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Apologies for the interruption to normal service but I am delighted to announce that the waiting is finally over and yesterday we got confirmation from the UK embassy in New York that Sir’s VISA for the UK has been issued! The waiting is over and once his passport is returned later today we will have a travel date. I am sitting here writing this with happy tears of joys streaming down my cheeks. We have endured so many set backs but our determination to get to this day and belief in each other has paid off and this is now officially the beginning of the end of being apart. I promise to write a more coherent post for tomorrow but in the meantime….. *does happy, sexy, excited dancing……come on people, dance with me, you know you want to.

I cannot put in words how happy I am for you and your Sir. I have seen your struggle on twitter, felt the pain that was in your words, felt your frustration… and now felt your joy. It brought tears to my eyes, just knowing how happy you must be with this news, and how happy you soon will be to have your Sir with you every day!

Good luck. I did the immigration/ relationship/ marriage thing. It was far harder, more frustrating, than anyone could know without being through it themselves. Gives me a sick feeling just remembering it all now. Glad you are nearing the end of the physical immigration part. It does get easier when you are together to work on it all.
