Birthday Dear Just Kinky, Happy Birthday to you!
This time last year after a much huffing and puffing and plenty of gas and air the Scouser gave birth to Just-Kinky.com. It was her baby, but she was determined that she was not going to raise it alone; this was a baby that everyone could share in. One year on and it has gone from strength to strength. The site is a happy fun place to visit with a booming membership, a talented pool of authors, a host of blogs, forums, chat and much, much more. It is a place for people to exchange views, make friends, explore their sexuality and above all else, have fun doing it.
The Scousers intention was to allow the site to be driven by the members, to respond to their needs and let the site grow through their interaction with it and that is exactly what has happened. It’s been a tough 1st year, with teething problems and sleepless nights….although maybe that’s down to the partying that’s gone on here rather than anything else! LOL but here we are one year on and things are looking peachy!
It’s tempting to write a full sales pitch for JK now, but for most of you, you know it already and if you don’t, then shame on you, join immediately and find out for yourself. What I am going to say is that it has been a pleasure to be part of this first year, to have been involved in its development and to have watched it grow and grow. I have learnt so much in the process and laughed so hard that I have, on many occasions, felt like death by laughter might actually be possible. I have made a wealth of amazing friends, and of course without JK I might never have found him. My life has, without doubt, been enriched and I am not sure I will ever be quite the same again!!! LOL
Now this post is not complete without one final thing, the Scouser herself, and this bit is for her…..
Oi Scouser!
It’s been a riot, I have loved every minute of it and I love working with you. No day is complete without hearing your dulcet tones emitted from my laptop. I love listening to you shout at your kids and then tell them you love ‘em, I love listening to you make your toast, burn your bacon, and swear at your computer when it won’t do what you want it to do (mutters something about a crap crafts man always blames his tools.) You have taught me so much, put up with my donut questions and above all that you have been a great mate and I can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow…..well maybe not tomorrow…..Did I tell you I am going to Vegas?
Right, you can relax now, that’s the soppy stuff over with, is it too earlier to have a bevvie?
