Pattern of shadows

Molly naked in stream with weeping willow casting shadow patterns over her bumThis is the second image I have posted taken from this location. You can find the first one here A Pining Nymph. I love the way the shadows from the weeping willow that was over hanging the stream are decorating my flesh with what almost look like firework trails. As for the rather red bottom, well for once that has nothing to do with spanking and everything to do with the coolness of the water and gravel bed of the stream that I have been sitting on.

Your pose excites me, specifically the insouciance I infer in the raised position of your foot. Gorgeous photo!

This is so imaginative – great shot, Molly! (Bet it was cold!) The shadow breaking up the outline, really forces you to look at the image as well as emphasising the curves.

A lucky snap of a wild animal in her habitat – that’s what this photo feels like 🙂

Lovely photo – love the river scene and the shadows mapped to your curves. Disappointed about the origin of the red bottom… I’ll just pretend that I forgot to read the final sentence! 😉

And here in lays the problem. I think my work and my blog has become stale. Don’t get me wrong I think my images are great and I am proud of them but maybe they are just getting boring to people now.

I agree with Jo – you do look like a tiger stalking prey and the patterns add to the effect giving you sexy stripes x

My eyes went to your red bottom and my first thought was a spanking. I love your photos and wish I had your eye for it.

Oh I do love this

The poem, your words, the fun that caused the red bottom in a vanilla sense

But those shadows are fantastic

The shadows on this are amazing. There something faintly Natural History “Lost Amazon” documentary about the whole scene.

I love this Molly! The shadows do look like fireworks and as someone said above, I love how you always just go for it. Dive into a cold stream for a good photo? Done! As for your other comment above about your work getting stale, I have to heartily disagree. You are one of the few people who constantly surprise me. There are certain themes you gravitate to (nature spirit being a glorious one) but I love the variety and exploration you achieve in these photos. People don’t look back at Klimt or Rembrandt or Picasso’s work and say “boring” they call those guys genius for the way they explored their various themes and styles. Even though viewers might be able to tell who painted what, there is tons of excitement in their collections. Same for you. Basically, im saying feel free to try new techniques and explore new themes, but do it because your are an artist and you like to push yourself, not because you think your work is in any way getting boring. It isn’t. It’s wonderful, inspiring, moving.

Oh and I skimmed your comments here…..I can only speak for myself of course, I can’t imagine anyone ever being bored seeing your images and your blog is far from stale.
