I am pretty sure this was not exactly the kind of thing William Allard had in mind when he wrote this about photography although you never know as he has definitely taken very beautiful images of women including this one taken in a Brothel in Brazil. Interestingly too, especially considering this quote, Allard is one of the few photographers of his generation whose entire professional collection of work is in colour so I guess when he talked about simplicity he was not advocating for it to be achieved by lack of colour.
This image was one I also considered for the minimalist prompt a few weeks back but it lost out to Unfeigned. However it was a close call because I am really proud of this shot. I love the way the lines where my bum meets my thighs are not exactly the same on both sides and that on one side you can just make out the two little moles that are right at the top of my thigh I suspect a lot of photographers who take high key shots like this would have removed those ‘flaws’ but for me they are a big part of what makes this image interesting.

That’s a pretty good photo!
There’s a nice balance between abstract shapes and pleasing warm humanity. I like the slight asymmetry and, as for the doubts you mention, I’m so glad you left the moles – removing them would be a concession to the sort of consumer taste that has no place in your pics. I prefer real people:)
I wonder if you’d find Minor White’s abstract photos interesting?

A very nice arse indeed.
Obviously the artistic and technical qualities of the photo, the limited pallet of light and shade, the imbalance in what would normally appear balanced, the subtle cruciformity suggesting sacrifice … all these contribute significantly to one’s ability to appreciate quite what a damn fine arse it is. But let’s not forget the photo should be nothing with out such a nice arse.

How strange we both came up with something so alike this week! I think this is beautiful and I agree with you about the moles, I never remove any ‘flaws’ it’s part of what make me…well me!
I don’t even see them as flaws but I used the term as I know many photographs would and would get rid of them

This is beautiful! To me, it reads like an exotic flower. The stem is the shadow between your legs, the leaves the curves of your bottom and the petals, your panties.
