“Just 10 my love, count with me…”
Words that I never like to hear because the smaller the number the harder they will applied. With 10 there will be no warm up, no little taps to ease my body and mind into the sensation. Things will go from nothing to full on like a red-hot strip of iron burning into my flesh with the very first touch of the whip. Just 10 might sound easy to you, but the truth of the matter is that just 10 was created by him to be many things but easy was not one of them. Just 10 is something way more than just 10…

OMG, I can only imagine 10 with no warm up. Every once in a while, SSir will give me three or four with no warm up but not as a planned thing. Ouch! And yet…yum!
Oh my, I would hate small numbers then. I don’t do a no-warm-up well.
Your words made me sigh, the picture made me smile. I prefer a warm-up but (also) don’t always get it.

Oh gosh, the dressage whip is my nemesis, even with a warm up lol…i hate it!
But yes, when its a low number, i always feel there is a catch..and there generally is!
