My Scavenger Hunt week continues with day 5 which is also Sinful Sunday and some pictures that I believe will make yet another new location on Curvaceous Dee’s list; Lock Gates.
The UK has an extensive system of man-made canals some of which date back to the 16th Century although the biggest growth in the canal network was during the 18th and very early 19th century when horses walked the tow path pulling the barge-like boats and their industrial loads along behind them. Nowadays the canals are still popular waterways in the UK but there industrial use is over and they provide an interesting and different way to explore the UK both by water and by foot.
I have had this location on my to-do list for over a year now but it is not in my town and it is also not a location that I felt I could do alone as the path is fairly well used and, as you can see, there are buildings right next to it, so setting up the tripod and working alone was going to be really tricky.
However this summer we finally got the chance to get here when we decided to visit another munch in a nearby town which was being held in a pub about 5 minutes walk from this spot. The opportunity was just too good to resist.
And the cows seemed utterly uninterested in us….
But the whole things just seems to have been designed for someone to lay on.The only problem with this position was that I couldn’t see if anyone was coming and he could only see if anyone was coming from the direction behind me which was why I am fairly sure that the man who appeared just moments after this picture was taken must have got a fairly clear view of things as he run towards from the opposite direction. Luckily he seemed unfazed by it and gave us a happy smile as he jogged on by.
Once we were sure the coast was clear again we took these last two images which turned out to be my favourite from this location by far.
As long as Dee approves this as a location it will be No. 57 on my list but the week is not over yet so make sure you come back tomorrow to check out No. 58.

I certainly approve of it as a location. Reminds me of a week of naked boating on the Norfolk Broads last summer.

lovely shots!! they all look great!
Oh wow Molly, every single one of these shots is fantastic! My absolute favorite is the 2nd to last–I love how the steps curve, and how you’re posed, it conveys a sense of motion…almost like you’re about to push that beam away with some super strength. You never cease to amaze me!

That location is wonderful. It’s not very often you find something to play on! 😀
There are great, great, photos Molly! Simply love them, and the location you found.
I think you’re a number out, though – I counted the ones I have for you on the participants page, and according to that this is already #58 🙂

Hmmm I think I need to double check my list….

A fabulous find for a location, and one I hope to get too one day over here at the Dutch canals.
Love the last two photos, but also love that the man might have seen something of the fun you were having 😉

I think you meant to say those cows were *udderly* not interested 😉
Excellent location and lovely shots! I’m sure that jogging fellow appreciated the improvement to the view too…

I’m not sure why, but the last image is my favourite…..the others are wonderful in their own right, but for some reason the last one looks almost like your dress rode up by accident, a naughty glimpse of an unintentionally exposed bottom.

These are wonderful pics! Renee and I would love to do some similar scavenger hunt photos. Alas, we don’t have many water canals in the eastern US. Oh, and while I was viewing these pics, Renee looked over at my laptop and said, “oh, that nice ass looks familiar”. Hee hee. P.S. The sneakers go with that dress quite nicely.
Lovely photographs . . . and a wonderful location too. I love your dress.
Oh, and Hubby mentioning that those last two photos of you pushing open the gates must have made more than just the water level rise!!!

This is a great location and you look fabulous.
I’d have given you a huge smile if I’d come across you too!
Fab photos, and a great location too!
Wonderful pictures. It looks like a beautiful day and you would certainly make hearts race on those calm waterways.
What a fabulous set of images! I absolutely love the penultimate image the curve of your bottom in just delicous in it!!

Beautiful pictures xxx
These are wonderful! I’m with Penny on the second to last photo. It looks like you are the goddess of the river, pushing the levers and keeping everything flowing properly.
These are fantastic!
We love a walk down our local canal. Hiring a boat is fun too, around £100 for a boat that fit three families and we had a lovely picnic and tons of booze! 😉
I am loving these scavenger hunts!! Lots of cool places and the shots are always lovely 🙂
I love the one where it looks like you are pushing the beam. (BTW, your ass looks amazing.) Great hunt photos.
Funnily enough, we were discussing a canal trip sometime. I wonder if we’ll see such spectacular sights!
My favorite is definitely the second to the last! Looks like a really amazing place, especially to take such fun and sexy photos!
Great shots of a beautiful woman in a lovely location. Though the first shot would look gorgeous framed, my favorite is probably the penultimate one. What an utterly gorgeous sight!
I know I’m supposed to comment on your sexy ass (which I am), but I can’t help but also comment on your adorable sneakers! Just how many colors do you have, anyway?
These are really lovely pic’s Molly, of both the locks and of you. Thank you for sharing them. Being from over the pond and never having been to England, my heart yearns for seeing the “biggest system in the canal network”. And having a beautiful girl like you along would only make it twice as lovely! Ed
