Pussy Pride Goes Global

This weekend has been a very exciting time in the life of the Pussy Pride Project as it got a lovely mention and link in an article on Salon.com called ‘The Labia Pride Movement’  I was aware that this might be possible but I had no idea of when it would be and so we were a little taken aback when my site stats suddenly went through the roof on Sunday morning. So far the views on that page alone are approaching 23,000 in just the last 2 days and my blog as a whole has received well over 50,000 page views in the same time frame. I also know from many of the blog who have linked into the Pussy Pride Project that this traffic is overflowing to them too. I hope it will bring a whole new audience, encourage others to join in and also highlight the work of my project and some of the other equally exciting projects based on very similar themes that were also mentioned in the article.

When I was a teenager, I hated my labia. I am a Latina woman, and so many of my private areas tend to be darker in color. Like many kids my age, I snuck looks at porno videos and thought that my vagina should look like theirs: nice and pink and perfect sized labia. As time went on, I accepted it, still not loving it, just settling for what it was. And then last year, which I attribute to being a time of sexual re-awakening for me, I learned to love my pussy. The caramel color, how soft it gets when I remove all the hair, the pink nub of my clit…I love my pussy now, and find her quite pretty. 😉 xxx

Very very well done Molly, this is such an inspiring project which prompted me to start my own little project.

I am so happy for you and your success in this.
