I am on holiday… or more correctly WE are on holiday. This will be our first family holiday together since Sir moved to the UK to live with me and my children. For those of you who don’t know that back story we met on-line and had a long distance relationship for a period of about 18 months in which we both travelled back and forth over the Atlantic to spend real-time with one another. Last summer he finally made the big move from the USA to come to England so that we could get married. Our first wedding anniversary is fast approaching.
I hope while we are away to still be able to do some work. I have so many projects that are buzzing round in my head that a bit of on-line time will actually serve me well but I am also looking forward to spending lots of time soaking up some much-needed sunshine and reading lots and lots of book, both filthy and otherwise. This is something that I have definitely neglected over the few months. The blog will still be here when I get back will my dear readers, or so I hope. Sinful Sunday will carry on as usual, albeit with slightly reduced tweeting, and of course the 365 Project is all set to run itself in my absence. Anonymous is another matter though and will depend on how good the internet access is. If you do submit something, please be aware that I am on holiday and so might take slightly longer to post than usual.
We have had the most amazing first year together and this week away as a family, with my children too, feels like the perfect way to round it off. In a few weeks we will celebrate our wedding anniversary in a very grown-up fashion as the children will be away with their Father but nor now it is all about the water slides, ice-cream, beaches, laughter and being allowed to stay up way past your bed time!
