Christmas Pussy

28th December

So what did Santa bring all my lovely readers for Christmas? Please do leave me a comment and let me know, I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t want to hear the answer. I had been teased and taunted with presents under the tree for the best part of a week by Sir and I had done a valiant job of looking like I wasn’t interested but every now and then when left the room I would sneak over to the tree and take a look. I wasn’t interested in touching or shaking the pretty little parcels but reading the messages. I wish I had taken a picture of them actually and kept those words forever but instead I shall hold them in my memories and get them out and remember them from time to time. They will always make me smile… “To my darling wife on our Christmas, I love you”

So are you wondering what was in those packages? he really does know me so well because in my little parcels were 2 books; The Courage To Write By Ralph Keyes (which I have already started to consume with hungry enjoyment and am delighted to discover that I am not the only writer consumed with fear about her work) and Subtext – A Modern Day Tale Of Female Submission by Kate Marley which is patiently waiting on my bedside table for the attention it deserves and the rest of my presents well they contained camera stuff. I got 2 new lens, a remote control trigger and a very neat little bag to keep it all in… I only wish I had the close up lens when we took this shot before Christmas but at least now I have an excuse to try it again next year.

  2. I think it stands quite well on its own merit … beautifully festive :)

This was the year of the gift cards for me… got two for Starbucks, two for Bath&BodyWorks, several for Amazon, and one to a theatre that has a full-service restaurant & bar.

I’m going to be getting a fire-cupping set I’ve had my eye on, the rest of the Amazon gift cards to be saved toward my next big (camera) purchase.

  3. This was one of those years we were hard pressed to come up with decent options. I got “boring” household stuff. Sheets. A fancy laundry hamper. A third Himalayan Salt Lamp. New pasta dishes. The new Alton Brown books.

  4. Lovely pic.
My Christmas gift was the booking of a hotel room for end February and the promise of being used for 24 hours…
Other than that we did not do any Christmas gifts :)

  5. That is a fantastic haul Miss Molly! Very jealous of your lenses and trigger… that is pretty damn awesome. What did I get? Well, mostly things I intend to forward as gifts for other people, haha. But really, I got books for my course – much needed, much appreciated – and am hoping for something more when I do Christmas with my Dad’s side of the family. But I’ll be happy as it is…

  6. Molly, the big world is such a small place. I, too, devoured Ralph Keyes book. Only it was many years ago. He lives in my favorite little town, about 15 minutes from where I grew up. I also attended the Antioch Writer’s Workshop on summer, where he was (is?) vice president. It somehow makes me feel even closer to you…

    • It is a small world indeed my lovely DDD. I would love to have gone to one of his workshops if the book is anything to go by. His writing style is so easy to read and it feels like it was written just for me. The mark of a good writer I guess when the reader feels like it is written just with them in mind.

  7. Geez. I just re-read my comments and saw I forgot an apostrophe in “Keyes'” and used “on” instead of “one”. So much for impressing you that I attended his writing workshop…

  8. A Stainless Steel “Double Dipper” http://www.medicaltoys.com/Stainless-Double-Dipper-L.jpg (for research purposes only, you know…) and an Octu-Pussy Glass G-Spot Massager http://www.medicaltoys.com/Octu-Pussy-gspot-L.jpg plus some paramedic shears plus a few bits and pieces. Oh, and a VERY large coffee cup henceforth known as The Bucket.

May the New Year bring you unfettered creativity and boundless fun (but not necessarily in that order).
