Enveloping me in its arms

Drawing me in

Closer

Holding me

In its shadowy grasp

Until I am panting for breath

And fighting the fear of being alone

Without lights to find my way

From nightmares

To dreams

Dark

To light

Reaching out for you

Feeling the heat from your touch

As you flick the switch and illuminate me
